Our first group training of our own organizing was held in December. A flat moderate terrain ride, but over 100km(62 miles) in length. This being the furtherest distance ridden for several of our riders.
We held the ride twice, once to scout and then a second time with more advertising. It was gorgeous weather both times, with the post rain trickle of water glistening down the LA river. Thanks to everyone who helped scout this one with me, and that suggestion to go down the floral district in downtown was a really pleasant way to cut through the city, thanks Johanna.
